Austin Catering provided all the food and rentals for our wedding. They did a fantastic job. Throughout the many months of working with them, they were exceptionally responsive and professional. We worked with Audrey, and together with her team, she helped us in countless ways, revising our contract maybe 20 times without a second thought. The wedding went off without a hitch, the food was truly delicious, and we never worried for a second that it would be any other way. On the food, we are real food snobs, and so are many of our guests, and everyone was impressed. We loved the family style service, it was flawlessly timed, and made the reception feel so warm and communal. Several people have reminisced on how good the salmon was, even a few weeks later! Our NYE Dinner

We hired Austin Catering for our large family New Year’s Eve dinner, and they truly exceeded our expectations! Feeding a group of 30 people, young and old, can be chaotic, but the team handled everything with such grace and professionalism. The food was served piping hot, beautifully presented, and—most importantly—it was delicious. It allowed us to actually enjoy each other’s company instead of spending the whole night in the kitchen. We even enjoyed the leftovers the day after! Gabrielle was also so easy to work with in the planning phase. This dinner was the highlight of our annual family vacation. Thank you!

Work with Austin Catering!! We just got married in Austin in January 2026. My husband and I live in Chicago and work very full time jobs (I’m a resident physician and he works at a financial-tech start up). They did an incredible job working with our needs as a catering/bartending company, had excellent communication throughout the process, and flawless execution. Flavia always followed up, worked within our budget, helped create a delicious menu, and counseled us through much of the catering/bartending side. We wanted a fully vegetarian buffet that people wouldn’t have noticed was vegetarian until pointed out. Surely enough- a few of my guests raved that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding AND some didn’t noticed it wasn’t vegetarian until half way through. Top favorites include the tomato soup/grilled cheese, stuffed cannoli, and wontons. Day of, the staff was so professional and diligent. My guests even commented on how much they loved the witty bartenders! 11/10 I couldn’t ask for a better catering team.

We cannot recommend Austin Catering enough! From the very beginning, they were so responsive, easy to work with, and incredibly accommodating with all of our requests. Such a joy

Flavia with Austin Catering was such a joy. She was open to all my crazy ideas, and she was excited to make them happen. She thinks of the little things — for example, we had tiramisu from an outside vendor for dessert. She asked if we wanted them to bring extra cocoa powder to make the slices look more appealing. Who does that? Not to mention she’s just really sweet and cheerful. Everything went wonderfully the day of, and many, many people raved about the food! They accomodated an Argentinian-theme wedding for us, and even worked to refine small tweaks we made with a follow-up tasting. We also did adorable, late-night Chicago hot dogs that were also a hit! Their prices were very reasonable, too. To be completely honest, they did forget one very small thing (a drink garnish) and a bigger thing (fries we meant to serve with hot dogs), but honestly, that was far from our biggest concern, and they owned up to the mistake and refunded us. Overall, highly recommend!

Would Highly Recommend

Austin Catering, and specifically Susan Higgins, was a joy to work with. Food was one of my top priorities at the wedding, and it turned out exactly as we hoped, if not better. We were going for a “His & Hers” theme, since I’m from Texas (and love Mexican food) and he’s from St. Louis; we wanted to represent both places in the menu. We received quite a few quotes for our reception dinner, and Susan sent back a menu that was exactly what we wanted at exactly the right price. When we made a request for something that they had never done before (toasted ravioli), she never balked, and the toasted ravioli turned out delicious! Even the St. Louis people, who tend to be snobs about their t-ravs, raved about how they turned out and about the food in general. Throughout the planning process, Susan was very quick to respond to any question or request I had and when we did the tasting a few months before the wedding, I knew we had made the right choice. The food at the wedding for 120 people tasted just as good as the tasting we did for 2. Their staff was very friendly and even made plates for my husband and I so that we could sit down and enjoy the food during dinner. And they sent us away with a to-go box that came in handy later that night. Susan came out to the wedding venue with us to do a walk through and was extremely helpful in more than just the catering aspects, especially since I didn’t have a wedding planner. I would highly recommend Austin Catering for their food, presentation, and service! I only wish I had eaten more of the food at the wedding!

Wonderful to work with

We had K.D. and the Austin Catering team cater our wedding this spring, and they were wonderful to work with! They created an entirely custom Colombian-inspired menu for our cocktail hour and reception, including arepas, patacones, and several other dishes that were meaningful to us. As someone with celiac disease, it was also incredibly important to me that the food be 100% gluten-free, and their team did an amazing job accommodating that for us. We were a little nervous about how the food on the wedding day would compare to the tasting, but they absolutely nailed it. They brought our vision to life perfectly, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was.

Given the complexity of our menu and the number of custom dishes, there were a few moments where buffet items took a little longer to be replenished, and the water station/table water service occasionally lagged behind guest demand. That said, everything was handled professionally, and overall the evening ran very smoothly. The servers were all wonderful, and we felt so well taken care of throughout the evening. They also made sure we had one of everything packed up to take with us at the end of the night, which we really appreciated.

Austin Catering was wonderful to work with from start to finish! Communication was smooth and easy throughout the planning process, and on the big day, they truly delivered. The food was outstanding, and many guests came up to compliment us on how delicious everything was. The staff at the event were lovely as well—not only did they coordinate the meal seamlessly, but they also checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we got to try all of the appetizers and to see if we needed anything. WOW Our Menu From Austin Catering Was Insanely Good!

Not your typical “wedding food”! WOW our menu from Austin Catering was insanely good! From the first bite of food we had at our in person tasting we knew they were it! Austin catering isn’t your typical “pick from two options” kind of place. Our menu was catered to our liking- we had a southwest twist on classics. We went with passed appetizers and a plated meal, and it was beautiful and delicious! Our guests had nothing but outstanding things to say about their food! We also used their bartending services, and everything was seamless! They even helped us create our signature cocktails! If you are getting married in the Austin area, and you want food that tastes like a high end restaurant and not hotel/catered food- I would go with Austin Catering!

Seriously One of the Best!

Austin Catering is seriously one of the best in the industry. I work for a venue in Austin, TX (Springdale Station), and they are our number one most recommended catering company. Their food is AMAZING – such a large variety of food options. But, most importantly – their service is outstanding. A lot of times couples/clients don’t know the importance of hiring companies with good service because it’s usually their first time doing it – good service is important because it sets the tone throughout the event. Things like not slamming the door during toasts, or always being professional around guests. I cannot speak highly enough about Austin Catering. They actually catered my wedding last year – which I think says a lot considering how many companies I work with. A perfect example of their amazing service: originally we had mac and cheese on the menu because it’s my favorite food, but we ended up swapping it out because it didn’t go with the rest of the meal. KD (the event manager) knew it was my favorite food, so she made sure they added it to my plate even though it was no longer on the menu. Don’t hesitate, reach out and do a tasting. Their food + service speaks for itself. Thank you Austin Catering team – Kristin, KD, and all of the amazing servers/chefs/bartenders – you’ve made working in this industry such a great experience.

The Best Wedding Food I’ve Ever Had


I had my wedding about two months ago, and still, to this day, I have guests calling or emailing me gushing about the food at my wedding. I continue to get the same comment over and over- “that was the best wedding food I’ve ever had” or “how did they possibly make 100 steaks cooked to perfection”? Honestly, working with Austin Catering was one of the best service-based experiences I’ve ever had. I can be quite a perfectionist, and their director of catering. Kristin Stephens, integrated my feedback throughout the planning process seamlessly. Their entire team is truly incredible, and I have to say, they made me feel like a queen given how many people obsessed about the food at our wedding. We selected the plated experience, which definitely was more expensive, but totally worth it in my mind. The food looked like art and tasted like magic! AND, to top it off. I had a friend who had extremely specific dietary restrictions. It was very important to me for her to be able to eat with everyone and enjoy herself – Austin Catering created a specific meal based on the 10 foods she could eat. It was so special and considerate. It not only blew me away, but really meant the world to her. I could probably rave about their team, the service, the overall experience, the food, for hours but I know no one has time to read that review. Sooo, to sum it up. If you do one thing-BOOK AUSTIN CATERING. They’re the best and you won’t regret it.

Best Wedding Food – Awesome Customization!

We hired Austin Catering for our 3/26/22 wedding and they were amazing!! They were able to tweak menu items to make them GF and worked with us and our planner to customize dishes. We did family style for our 50 person wedding and everyone told us this was the best food they had at a wedding!! They also provided our chasers, juices, and bartenders!

Oh my goodness

The guests are all still talking about the food! I don’t even know how to do Austin Catering justice with this review. I come from a very picky, food obsessed, Italian/New Yorker family and married a man whose family is also Italian, full of incredible cooks, and owns several restaurants themselves. The menu is completely created just for you. The hardest part of this was that our imagination and taste buds couldn’t even dream up what Austin Catering made for us. We went for our tasting (which, by the way, is at an adorable location) and left adding about 15 more food options and desserts to the original already larger than appropriate menu. Really, everything was delicious, presentation was beautiful, and they did just an overall fantastic job. We couldn’t be happier with our choice! Thank you!

Extremely Impressed

We hired Giselle with Austin Catering to do both our couples shower and our wedding. We were extremely impressed with the food! They were able to accommodate for >200 person wedding, and we received many compliments about the food from our guests. So Happy!

We used Austin Catering for our wedding and I am SO happy that we did! First off, KD was so accommodating to the (several) changes in our menu as well as dietary restrictions of our guests. We are so appreciative of her and her flexibility as we planned out our hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and late night snack for our big day! The food was delicious and the catering team was so attentive not only to our guests but us as well which we really appreciated. The timing of food service was quick and our guests only had amazing things to say. We also loved that staff came to find us with drinks and hors d’oeuvres after the ceremony, while we were taking photos, to ensure that we got to enjoy these as well. It was such a pleasure working with KD and her awesome team!

Best Decisions We Made

Knowing that the food and beverage service is the main thing every guest talks about after a wedding, the selection of a caterer for our daughter’s wedding was of paramount importance to us. We interviewed and scheduled tastings with several companies, and Austin Catering stood alone in several areas – price, taste, professionalism, quality of service and personal attention to detail. Now that the reception is behind us, we couldn’t be more thankful we went with Austin Catering – we have heard nothing but wonderful comments from all of our guests about how the food at our daughter’s wedding was the best they’d ever had – truly better than a restaurant experience, and the china, linens and glassware are all part of the package at Austin Catering – not an “up charge” as we found elsewhere. Kristin Stephens was delightful to work with. She kept in touch with us throughout our year of planning regarding every thought or concern we had; and during the week of our daughter’s wedding, we felt like her only clients – she returned phone calls and emails immediately, setting our minds at ease regarding every detail. If we had this wedding to plan over again, we would skip the other tastings and book Austin Catering right away. It was one of the best decisions we made.
